FINTECH 80 CHENGDU HACKTHON (CHENGDU80 for short), is a global top-level fintech competition which design for college students. CHENGDU80 requires participants to design their financial instruments prototypes within 80 hours based on the Fintech application scenarios given by the organizers, using open source technologies. Every year, CHENGDU80 will be held with Swufe International Fintech Conference together. In the meanwhile, people from politics, academia and industry will be invited by CHENGDU80, providing a broad platform for participants to have the opportunity to communicate and interact with academic leaders in the field of FinTech, executives from international financial institutions, and leaders from government. “成都八零”全球金融科技产品设计与研发大赛是一场针对高校学生的金融科技产品设计与研发大赛，参赛者须根据主办方给出的金融科技类应用场景，利用开源技术，在规定时间内设计出自己的参赛作品。大赛每年与金融科技国际论坛同时举办，并邀请来自政界、学界和业界等各界人士参与，使参赛者有机会与金融科技领域的学术领袖、国际金融机构的高管、政府和监管机构的领导者进行交流和互动。最终竞赛评审委员会将结合产品原型的有效性、合理性、创新性以及用户体验等给予评分并选出优胜队伍。大赛举办以来，吸引了清华大学、北京大学、加州大学伯克利分校、新加坡国立大学、西南财经大学、多伦多大学、上海交通大学、香港大学、佐治亚理工学院、南方科技大学、瑞士苏黎世大学、苏黎世联邦理工学院、特拉维夫大学、电子科技大学、重庆大学等十数所国内外顶尖大学组队参加，被誉为“金融科技领域的黑客马拉松”。
